MARINA,
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by an incident that occurred while I was waiting for my order at Dunkin’. this morning.

When my coffee was called and was ready,

Marina picked up the hot coffee and placed her hands over the opening while attempting to open it and drink from it. She then realized that the coffee was not hers. Because she had already placed her hands over the opening of my drink, I politely asked the employee if my coffee could please be remade for health and sanitation reasons.

Instead of simply allowing the employee to remake the drink,

Marina immediately became verbally aggressive toward me. She repeatedly cursed at me, told me to “shut the f*** up,” called me “crazy,” and directed racial slurs toward me. I was shocked by her behavior and became defensive, telling her to leave me alone.

The situation escalated further when Marina put her hands on me and continued yelling at me. I decided to leave Dunkin’ because I did not want the situation to escalate any further. As I was leaving,

Marina followed behind me, continuing to yell racial slurs and insults. She then ran ahead of me and entered her workplace at Royal Spa Studios on 107-29 71st Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375, while continuing to yell at me.

I went to the establishment because I wanted to speak with a manager and report what had just happened. Marina continued yelling that there was no manager available and continued making insulting and offensive remarks toward me.

It is unfortunate that Royal Spa Studios has just opened, because this experience did not make me feel welcomed or comfortable recommending the spa to my friends.

Marina, people should not be treated this way. I plan to follow up with a manager in person and hope that management will address this incident and take appropriate steps to change my perspective about visiting and experiencing the spa.

I am sharing this review because no customer should have to experience this type of aggressive, disrespectful, or discriminatory behavior. I know the situation should have been handled professionally, and I hope management takes this incident seriously and addresses her behavior appropriately.

I am asking management to review any available surveillance footage and speak with the employees who witnessed the incident. I also hope steps are taken to ensure that customers are treated with basic respect and are not subjected to racial slurs, verbal harassment, or physical contact.
